When you access this site, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the terms described below. If you do not agree to the terms discussed here, you should exit the site and refrain from placing any order.

Contract, Payment and Delivery

Orders will be accepted via this website by Cuisine Scene Ltd, for delivery in New Zealand only. Payment is to be made in NZ currency. Any contract arising from this site is governed by the laws of New Zealand. If you live overseas and wish to order products, please contact us via email.

Delivery times of products will vary depending on your location.

Product Availability

Products may be added to or removed from the website from time to time. While we do not accept liability for any loss arising, every effort will be made to keep the information up to date and accurate.


All prices in the shpping areas are in New Zealand dollars (NZ$) and include GST (15% sales tax). Prices may increase or decrease from time to time. Prices shown at the time of purchase are the prices you will pay. You must pay by Mastercard or Visa. We will not accept cheques or cash on delivery.


Products displayed on the Cuisine Scene Ltd shopping site can be purchased using secure online Mastercard and Visa transaction facility.


Cuisine Scene Ltd are associated with DPS, New Zealand's largest and most preferred payment gateway provider.

Cuisine Scene Ltd do not collect or store any credit card information. This information is all processed by DPS. When making a purchase you will be directed to a secure webpage hosted by DPS to enter your payment details.


We use the secure Hosted Payment page solution from DPS to process online orders. Customers can see their cards being authorized and debited in real time, all in an SSL (Secure Socket Layer) environment. DPS is committed to protecting the security of your data.


We cannot deliver to a Post Office box, or any address which we deem suspicious. We ship our goods using PostHaste Couriers.

Delivery charges will be added to each order valued up to $50, and shown as a separate item before you chose to enter your payment details and send the order to be processed. 

Within New Zealand we charge a flat handling and delivery fee of:

  • NZ $8 for Standard delivery (2-3 working days Monday to Saturday)
  • Free delivery for all orders $100 or over

Should your order incur an additional charge, we will advise you prior to processing your order.

Should you feel that your goods do not arrive in good condition, please feel free to contact us.

We are not reponsible for loss or damage to goods that are delivered to an incorrect address.

Title and Risk

Goods are at our risk until delivered to the address given for your purchase.

Returns and Refunds

Please choose carefully, as we do not refund if you change your mind.

Cancellation of goods can not be accepted once the goods have been dispatched.

If you discover any defect in your product, you may return the item you purchase in new condition for a replacement within 30 days of delivery. When replacements are not available we may, at our discretion, provide a complete refund. We'll notify you via e-mail of the status of the replacement or refund once we've received and processed the returned item. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 7 business days of our receiving your return.

Freight will be refunded where the product is faulty or arrived damaged.


When choosing our collection the best of care goes into sourcing suitable pieces for you to enjoy for a reasonable amount of time.

Under our guarantee, faulty items that meet our conditions of care and use will be repaired, replaced or a refund will be issued at Cuisine Scene Ltd's discretion.

Cuisine Scene Ltd will replace any goods which fail to comply with Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

Where the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 apply, these terms will be read subject to the application of that Act, and in the case of any conflict, the provisions of that Act will apply.

Please note that the guarantee does not cover faults arising from: normal wear and tear, accidental damage, or mistreatment.

Limitation of Liability

Cuisine Scene Ltd are not liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages or loss of profit arising out of the use, or the inability to use, the products on this site. This includes but is not limited to the loss of data or loss of profit, even if Cuisine Scene Ltd was advised of the possibility of such damages.
